By using OurRoots.Africa, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our platform.

What We Provide

OurRoots.Africa is a heritage preparation platform for the African diaspora. We provide educational content, community features, and tools to help you prepare for your heritage journey.

Founding Member Pricing ($199 Lifetime)

Founding members pay $199 once and get lifetime access.

• One-time payment of $199
• Lifetime access to Cultural Explorer tier
• No annual renewals or price increases
• Access begins at beta launch (March 2026)
• 30-day money-back guarantee after launch

Important:

• Lifetime access is non-transferable (one person only)
• Cannot be sold, gifted, or shared
• Account deletion forfeits lifetime access forever
• "Lifetime" means as long as the platform exists

Annual Pricing (After Founding Phase)

After the founding phase closes, new members pay annually:

• Curious Traveller: $99/year
• Cultural Explorer: $199/year
• Heritage Seeker: $299/year

Payment

• Payments processed securely by Stripe
• All fees in USD
• Founding members: one-time payment, lifetime access
• Annual members: billed automatically each year

Your Account

• Must be 18+ to create an account
• Keep your password secure
• Don't share your account with others
• You're responsible for all account activity

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the platform for illegal activities
• Harass or harm other users
• Post offensive or hateful content
• Share false information
• Hack or disrupt the platform
• Copy our content without permission
• Share your login credentials

Content Ownership

All content on OurRoots.Africa is owned by 3Men Pty Ltd or our partners. You may use content for personal purposes only. You may NOT copy, redistribute, or use content commercially.

Survey Participation

We encourage members to complete our heritage survey at surveys.ourrootsafrica.com/ghana-heritage-travel. Survey responses help us build features you need. Participation is voluntary. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle survey data.

Disclaimers

• Educational platform: We provide education, not travel booking services
• Safety: You're responsible for your own safety when traveling
• DNA interpretation: We provide cultural context, not medical advice
• Partner services: We're not responsible for third-party tour operators

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 3Men Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your membership.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email. Founding member pricing is protected and won't be affected by future changes.

Cancellation

• Founding members: Can request account deletion anytime (forfeits lifetime access)
• Annual members: Can cancel anytime (no refund for unused time after 30-day guarantee)
• We may terminate accounts that violate these terms

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in Australian courts.
